Simply Sweet

I am now an east coast southern I guess you could call it! My husband and I made the long trek from Montana to the Virginia/ North Carolina area! Being born and raised in Montana and never living anywhere else, its been a huge change for me. We have been out exploring since we've arrived but its been so hot that we are usually next to water to cool off! I haven't brought my professional camera with me much on our outings because it can be so cumbersome sometimes and its one more thing I have to remember to pack! So I have been just using my iphone to capture things here or there, but its so hard because the quality is so poor and then I regret not having my good camera with me! The other day we went to church and I just grabbed my camera bag just in case, plus I had been missing seeing my kids through my camera lens! We stopped at our favorite coffee shop afterwards and I saw these pink cake pops that matched the girl's outfits perfectly! I ran to the car to get my camera and a cute little photo shoot happened right outside the coffee shop! I love capturing those unplanned moments and this was one of them! This is my youngest and she scarfed her cake pop down in 5 seconds and then started asking for her sisters that was slowly eating hers! The picture on the far left with her arms crossed, shows her upset that her sister wouldn't share hers! My oldest, which I will post her outtakes later, took over an hour to eat hers and it just killed her little sister! I absolutely love these images I captured and made me realize that I need to make a point to take my camera with me everywhere, not just on planned photo shoots!
